Registration receipts: sending by email or SMS

When you register, if you don’t receive the receipt by email or SMS, it may be because you don’t have an email address or mobile phone number saved in your profile. To check, review your details in the “View registered” section. If the payment was made by card and appears as confirmed (“Yes”), you don’t need any additional receipt.

I want to register as anonymous

Yes, you can request that your first and last name appear as “Anonymous” both in the registered list and in the final results.

I want to register using my ID number

I want to make a donation (Bib 0)

You can create a registration using only the minimum required data. This data will be deleted from our database once the donation period ends.

I want to cancel my registration payment

Cancellation and refund are only possible if the event organizer allows it. In that case:

  • You must inform the organizer of your refund request.
  • If the organizer decides to proceed, they will contact us so we can manage it.
  • A €2 fee is always deducted to cover bank charges.

Afterwards, you will see a refund in your card transactions under the name HERRIKROSA.eus.

I want to change a detail in my registration

During the registration process, after card payment, a message appears that you must accept. There you will find the “Modify details” option, where you can edit certain information. Some fields cannot be changed due to the organizer’s policy.

I want to change distance in an event with multiple distances

The change is possible as long as the Organizer allows it (see the event rules).

  • If the price is the same, the change is made directly.
  • If the price is different, the procedure explained in the “Cancel payment” section will apply.

Transfer a bib to another participant

Bib transfers are possible as long as the Organizer allows it (see the event rules). To request it:

  1. Send us, via the website contact form: the race name, the ID number of the registered runner, and the ID number of the new participant.
  2. We will check that the new participant has an active profile on our website.

I’m on a waiting list

The organizer will contact you when a spot becomes available. It’s important that your profile includes a valid email address and phone number. If you don’t have them, you may be removed from the waiting list. We are not responsible if our emails land in your spam folder.

When does registration end and the waiting list start?

The registration time recorded by the bank may be slightly later than that of other people already on the waiting list. This happens because the banking process does not stop time, while adding someone to the waiting list is immediate and requires no acceptance process.

Results

We do not store results from previous years. Since users can request deletion of their data at any time, the lists could become incomplete.

Recommendation to keep them:

  • Use your browser’s “Print” option and save it as a PDF on your device.
  • You can also copy and paste the full table content into an Excel file.

Display: includes categories with filters. It’s a simple process: creating the PDF takes about 10 seconds and Excel about 20.

Deletion policy: in December, results from January to October are deleted. Every January 20th, all results from the previous full year are deleted.

Timing and claims

Claims can be submitted by email via the website contact form. The time limit to submit a claim is one week.

Data protection

We protect your privacy. Your details will not appear in public results lists unless you give us your explicit authorization.

Sports accident

If you suffer an accident during a race:

  1. On the same day as the event, go to the nearest hospital for a medical assessment.
  2. Notify us through the website contact form.

Children’s event registrations (Txikien Krosa Project)

From 2022 onwards, registering children in races will become standard through the TXIKIEN KROSA project. Categories will be school categories. This project, created with the support of Ikastola HERRI AMETSA, will assign each child a permanent identification code. Available events:

Event creation for organizers

Event creation and modifications are managed exclusively by HERRIKROSA.eus. Setting up a new event usually takes from one day to the next.

Organizers must request it through the website contact form and will receive:

  • A Login to access registered participants’ data, including each participant’s full profile.
  • Tools for mass communications (cancellations, bib collection notices, course changes, etc.). Delivery is instant to all participants and receipt confirmation is 100% within minutes.

Timing on race day

In 98% of events, results are online and in real time: they are updated as runners cross the finish line. There is also an option to hire an SMS notification service to receive on your phone the exact moment you cross the finish line.

Event permits: mandatory insurance

It is mandatory to insure all participants. The relevant legal department will not grant the event permit unless this coverage is proven.

According to regulations, all participants must be covered by:

  1. A civil liability insurance with coverage equivalent to mandatory motor insurance.
  2. An accident insurance with, at minimum, the coverage of the mandatory sports accident insurance.

Without these insurances, the event cannot take place.
