Herrikrosa has been active in the field of popular races in Euskal Herria since 1999. With over two decades of experience, we have not only overcome technological challenges such as the Year 2000 effect (Y2K), but we have also been witnesses to and active participants in the evolution of sport in our region.
Our growth has been solid and steady. We began by providing timing services without publishing results, and in our very first year of doing so, we achieved coverage of 97% of the races in Gipuzkoa. In those early days, we were physically present at every race, meticulously transcribing every piece of data. For several years, we consolidated our project by focusing exclusively on this territory.
Between 2015 and December 30, 2023, we managed approximately 150,000 computer-based time measurements with 100% effectiveness and zero claims. This figure confirms our technological robustness and our commitment to accuracy.
Today, our team consists of 12 people united by a shared passion. We believe in gender equality, maintaining a 50/50 parity criterion, and in supporting local commerce and technology.
From 2020 onwards, we made a strategic shift towards sustainability and quality, reducing our ecological footprint in a tangible and measurable way:
Our policy has evolved. From 2020 onwards, we have firmly committed to clients who trust us and believe in our project. We do not offer our services when the request is based solely on a budget, where the decision is reduced to a comparison on paper. We seek collaborations based on trust, service quality and shared values.
We believe in transparency. Our financial data has been provided to EUSTAT, reflecting solid investment in finish-line equipment, technology and devices to deliver the best possible service.
Herrikrosa is more than a timing service. It is a project with history, built on technological reliability, driven by committed people and guided by a strong commitment to sustainability and close, personal service.
